RAYS has completed the manufacture of DN1200 | PN25 rising stem wedge gate valves for a gas pipeline project, with the valves now prepared for delivery.
For large-diameter gate valves, reliable isolation depends on maintaining structural stability and sealing alignment under operating loads. Before production, RAYS applied finite element analysis (FEA) and design simulation to evaluate stress distribution, verify structural response and optimize sealing contact, reducing potential leakage risks at the design stage.
The valves feature an optimized wedge and sealing surface design for reliable contact performance. A high-strength one-piece stem provides stable torque transmission, while hardfaced sealing surfaces improve wear resistance. A two-stage low-emission packing system further enhances stem sealing and supports zero leakage performance during operation.
During manufacturing and final assembly, machining accuracy, stem and wedge alignment, wedge guidance, sealing contact and valve position indication are carefully controlled. Pressure testing and final inspection verify sealing integrity and operating performance before delivery.
From design simulation and precision manufacturing to controlled assembly and inspection, RAYS ensures structural stability and zero leakage reliability for large-diameter valve applications.
