As a leading ball valve manufacturer RAYS FLOW CONTROL has been producing industrial ball valves to the highest quality standards with ultra-modern manufacturing technology and astute materials sourcing.
RAYS Three-Way and Multi-Way Ball Valves are important components in fluid control systems and are widely used in various industrial fields. They are variants of ball valves. Their design allows fluids to be distributed or converted between more than two pipes. The three-way ball valve has three interfaces, which can realize the diversion, confluence or switching of fluids. According to the different internal structures, it is divided into L-type and T-type. The L-type can only connect two mutually orthogonal pipes, and cannot simultaneously maintain the interconnection of the third pipe, and only plays a distribution role; the T-type can make three orthogonal pipes interconnected and cut off the third channel, playing a diversion and confluence role. The multi-way ball valve is an extension of the three-way ball valve, with more interfaces and more complex fluid control functions.
The “Double Block and Bleed Isolation Philosophy” requires two in-line isolation valves and a bleed valve, used to drain or vent trapped fluid between the two closure elements in order to safely isolate safely the downstream pipe. This feature can be achieved with one single valves c/w a bleed port between the obturators.
RAYS Metal Seated Wear-Resistant Ball Valve is designed for extreme conditions characterized by high temperatures, high pressures, and abrasive media. Manufactured from premium alloy steel and enhanced with advanced hardening techniques, it offers exceptional wear resistance for both the ball and the seat. The hard seal design ensures superior sealing performance in harsh environments. Additionally, the valve features a robust construction and is easy to operate and maintain, significantly reducing maintenance costs. It is an ideal choice for heavy industries such as petrochemicals, power generation, and mining.
RAYS pigvalve is a high-performance ball valve designed for severe industrial environments, featuring multifunctionality aimed at optimizing pipeline cleaning and maintenance. This valve facilitates the movement of pipeline pigs to effectively remove scale, deposits, and other impurities, maintaining cleanliness and flow efficiency in pipelines.
RAYS' rising stem ball valve is designed to operate without friction between the ball and the seat during opening and to achieve zero leakage when closed. This makes it well-suited for demanding conditions. The valve is made entirely of metal and is fire-resistant, capable of functioning in extreme temperatures ranging from -196°C (320.8°F) to 538°C (1000.4°F). It can handle media with particulates like sand and short fibers, and meets NACE standards for corrosion resistance, ensuring it can resist sulfide stress cracking in harsh environments. The valve also features a self-cleaning mechanism. When the ball is tilted away from the seat, the fluid flows 360° around the ball's sealing surface, effectively removing any debris. This prevents damage from high-speed fluid flows and keeps the sealing area clean. The rising stem ball valve is ideal for various applications including exhaust, fluid transfer, pipeline isolation, bypass, product segmentation, and emergency shutdowns, particularly where high switching frequencies and zero leakage in high temperatures are required.
RAYS steel ball valves are designed manufactured to provide maximum service life and dependability. All ball valves are full ported and meet the design requirements of American Petroleum Institute Standard API 608&API 6D British standard BS 5351 and generally conform to American Society of Mechanical engineers standard ASME B16.34 valves are available in a complete range of body/bonnet materials and trims.
RAYS Side Entry Trunnion mounted ball valves are quarter-turn valves used to stop the flow of medium in pipelines. RAYS is the real API 6D valve manufacturer for the Trunnion mounted ball valve. These valves feature a round or spherical disk in the center that rotates to start or stop the flow. This disk is called a ball and it features a hollow center. Ball valves are extremely versatile and are commonly used in industrial applications where tight shut-off is required. Side Entry Trunnion mounted ball valves feature additional support for the ball. This support is in the shape of a shaft and is called a trunnion. The trunnion absorbs any added pressure from the flow, reducing stress on the ball and seats of the valve. Trunnion mounted ball valves are used in high-pressure, large scale applications where low operating torque is required.
This product is a new type top entry combination ball valve, the seat can be installed and move around the body. Through the thread, the outer margin of the seat connected to the retainer ring. There is spring on the support cover, which installed on the valve body, and the retainer ring can compress spring. The fabrication holes are on the outer margin of the seat and the retainer ring. This new type product adopts total body design, the compensation can be automatically, the possibility of leakage is small, safety in use, vibrate resistance, and double seal. The ball is installed from the top part, so can finish the maintenance without removing the pipe, it is very convenient.
RAYS C-type ball valve adopts a double eccentric design: the rotational center (axis) of the C-ball is offset from both the geometric center (sphere) of the C-ball sealing surface and the sealing center of the seat. This double eccentric design results in a dual-vector cam motion involving both rotation and translation of the C-ball, facilitated by the stem being offset in two planes. When the valve is closed, the C-ball and the seat interact to create a cam-action wedge tightness, achieving a torque seal. The torque required for sealing is provided by a handle, gear, or actuator, ensuring a tight shut-off that is mechanically independent of springs or process pressure
RAYS manufactures high-quality fully welded ball valves, forged from premium materials with side-mounted balls. The valves are available in two designs: cylindrical and spherical fully welded bodies. RAYS is particularly known for its cylindrical valve bodies. The company utilizes advanced welding techniques to reduce residual stress and maintain high toughness, adhering to international standards. The CTOD values of weld joints are used for safety assessments post-heat treatment. All materials' welding processes at RAYS are certified by TUV, ensuring the highest safety standards as evaluated by experts. RAYS offers both fixed and floating fully welded ball valves, customizable to different nominal sizes and pressures. For specific operational needs, RAYS also provides underground fully welded ball valves with customizable extended stems as per client specifications.
