Eccentric Design: The eccentric design is adopted between the ball (C ball) and the valve seat of the C-type ball valve. When the valve is closed, the C ball gradually enters the valve seat under the action of the eccentric force to achieve sealing. When the valve is opened, the C ball quickly leaves the valve seat under the action of the same eccentric force, thereby reducing the resistance of the switch action.
Sealing Principle: The sealing of the C-type ball valve is achieved through the metal-to-metal contact between the C ball and the valve seat. In the closed state, the C ball is in close contact with the valve seat to form a seal to prevent medium leakage.
Low Friction Switch: Due to the characteristics of the eccentric design, the friction between the ball and the valve seat of the C-type ball valve is very small during the opening and closing process. This means that the valve can be operated at a lower torque, reducing energy consumption and wear.
Self-Cleaning Function: When the valve is open, the fluid flows 360 degrees along the sealing surface, which helps to clean the materials and debris adhering to the sealing surface. When the valve is closed, the C ball moves gradually relative to the valve seat, which can shear and remove the adhering materials on the sealing pair and keep the sealing surface clean.
Supporting Shaft Positioning: C-type ball valves usually adopt a structural design with upper and lower support shafts to ensure the stability and precise positioning of the ball. This design also allows the valve stem to only transmit the torque of the ball valve opening and closing, while the thrust of the medium on the ball is borne by the support shaft.
Anti-Wear Treatment: In order to improve the wear resistance and service life of the valve, the contact area between the supporting shaft and the ball of the C-type ball valve is usually subjected to wear-resistant treatment, such as spray welding of nickel-based alloy.
