The dual-plate wafer check valve features two semicircular, spring-loaded valve discs mounted on a central vertical pivot. When the valve opens, the force of the fluid and the spring act at the center of the disc, causing it to open from the base first. This design minimizes wear on the seal during opening, enhancing its durability. As the flow decreases, the discs slowly move back towards the seat due to the spring's force, ensuring a gradual closure. During backflow, the increased force on the discs leads to a faster closure, effectively reducing the risk of water hammer and hydraulic shocks. The spring’s force closes the top end of the disc first, preventing damage at the disc's base and prolonging the seal's lifespan.
The structure is simple & compact with: smooth flow passages, high accuracy in flow characteris- tic curves, stable & reliable, economically practical, and easy to maintain. Based on a conventional type, it is designed and developed through modular extension which is capable of producing special structures such as: the C7 series angle type single-seat valve, bellows seal single-seat valve, and insulated jacket type single-seat valve for user selection.
The Cryogenic Temperature and High Performance Butterfly Valve adopts an offset valve stem and eccentric butterfly plate design. When opening and in the middle position, the valve seat and the butterfly plate do not contact each other, which reduces the friction on the valve seat while reducing the torque, and improves the durability of the valve. It is a high-performance regulating and cutting valve. The valve is designed to handle various media that are most difficult to handle in today's industrial environment, including liquid oxygen, liquid natural gas and other cryogenic liquids.
