As a leading ball valve manufacturer RAYS FLOW CONTROL has been producing industrial ball valves to the highest quality standards with ultra-modern manufacturing technology and astute materials sourcing.
The Silenct Check Valve is a valve that automatically opens and closes the valve disc based on the flow of the medium itself, used to prevent the backflow of the medium. Belonging to an automatic valve, its main function is to prevent medium backflow, prevent pump and drive motor from reversing, and prevent the release of container medium. Check valves can also be used on pipelines to supply auxiliary systems where the pressure may rise above the system pressure.
Y-Type Check Valveis a type of valve used to prevent fluid backflow, named after its Y-shaped valve body. It allows fluid to flow in one direction, and when the fluid flows in the opposite direction, the valve automatically closes to prevent backflow.
The valve body is made of high-strength alloy steel or stainless steel, and is equipped with a precisely processed swing-type valve disc structure, enabling automatic control of the unidirectional flow of the medium. The optimized fluid dynamics design effectively reduces water hammer impact. The surface of the valve disc is clad with hard alloy to ensure reliable sealing under high-pressure and high-speed conditions. It is suitable for pipeline systems in industries such as petroleum, chemical engineering, and power.
The dual plate check valve features two semicircular, spring-loaded valve discs mounted on a central vertical pivot. When the valve opens, the force of the fluid and the spring act at the center of the disc, causing it to open from the base first. This design minimizes wear on the seal during opening, enhancing its durability. As the flow decreases, the discs slowly move back towards the seat due to the spring's force, ensuring a gradual closure. During backflow, the increased force on the discs leads to a faster closure, effectively reducing the risk of water hammer and hydraulic shocks. The spring’s force closes the top end of the disc first, preventing damage at the disc's base and prolonging the seal's lifespan.
When the disc of the lift check valve slides along the vertical center line of the valve body and the medium flows forward, the disc is lifted by the fluid thrust and the medium passes smoothly; When the medium stops flowing or reverse flowing, the valve disc quickly closes under the action of its own gravity and the reverse thrust of the fluid to prevent the medium from flowing back. This valve is usually equipped with a guide sleeve to ensure that the disc remains smooth during lifting and accurately falls back onto the seat.
RAYS cast steel check valves are designed and manufactured to provide maximum service life and dependability. All check valves meet the design requirements of American Petroleum Institute standard API600 & 6D.BS EN 13709 and generally conform to American Society of Mechanical Engineers standard ASME B16.34. Valves are available in a complete range of body/cover materials and trims.
